So, aside from the paint cartoons we all make as Guest Strips, is anyone else here an artist? I seem to recall a few of you are, but I've never seen anyone post stuff. Is there a thread for it already? If not, there is now.

I doodle a lot at work, then do some digital painting with them when I get home. This is today's output:

Thoughts?

Do you consider wood carving to be artistry? If so, yes.

There appears to be a football game on TV in the background.

Apparently Santaman got hit in the head by something, if you'll look carefully above his nose.

The only art I do is performance art, specifically music. I'm not a half-bad singer. I also could perform with an instrument or two if I could ever afford lessons...

I draw things other than Spamusement, although nowhere near as much as I used to. Here are the only examples I could find online:

They are generally half-naked ladies because really what is the fun of drawing a bowl of fruit.

half the artists I meet on the internet love drawing half naked women... I geuss the female form is just really intricate and a good source for artsyness.
But we all know the real reason... bewbs!

I really wish I could draw. I dabbled at it off and on as a kid, but never did get the hang of perspective or faces (human or otherwise). So I drew a lot of 2D robots.

My main means of creative expression is writing, by which I mean starting on a story, getting halfway through it, deciding it sucks, and cannibalizing it for parts for other stories that also never get finished. I think I've only ever finished one story that I'm even remotely happy with, and I'm still not done tweaking on it.

I make strange noises with a guitar. I have an (uuurrrrghh) myspace account to demonstrate said 'music': http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=52444677

I use MS paint to make drawings. I mean, other than spamusment. As such:

I also doodle in class. I think that I have dropped some of those doodles into a thread before.

I also am a legitimate published author. One short story in one anthology... ooohhh... big deal. If you really wanted, you could read what i have to say at my blog, which is probably linked in my profile here on spamusment.

Wow. This entire post turned into me tooting my own horn. Sorry. I'm usually not so self-centered.

I do not express myself creatively. At all. I am a robot. I process mathematical equations at a superhuman rate. 4 + 5 = 9! 7 + a = more!

(I'm not actually any good at mental arithmetic.)

The only two media I feel comfortable dabbling in are prose and photography- specifically black and white with a 35mm camera. I do have a few good photos, but no scanner. So I really can't contribute anything to this thread. I used to have a few good photomanips, but my deviantart shut itself down after I left it for over a year because I couldn't bear to use something so closely associated with my ex. So I only have one of them. Oh well.

I really like the color, especially on the first one. When are those from?

What kind of Internet artist would I be if I didn't draw A) half-naked women or B) anime chicks? Except I usually go with B).

I've got some fan art for Harry Potter. Mostly I edit things though--so when I found this typo: Can’t the chamber only be opened by Slytherin’s hair?
I had to draw it.

My other stuff isn't exactly SFW

I have something my husband asked me to draw for his company. I have to find it though.

WHEN are they from? Good gravy. I think about 4 years ago.

I should do some more random non-spam-related drawing. Maybe it will unclog my brain pipe.
